This page explains what personal data Solution Malaysia collects and how it is used. Company information published on the site comes from public sources and company submissions; it is covered by the listing and correction policies, not this page.

What we collect

  • Form submissions — when you use the contact, submit, claim or correction forms we store the name, email, phone, company, city and message you provide, together with your IP address and the page you sent it from. This is kept as a private record for the editorial desk.
  • Server logs — standard web-server logs (IP address, request, user agent, timestamp) are generated for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

To answer your enquiry, to check and publish a company record you asked us to, to prevent abuse of the forms, and to keep the site running. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Retention

Form submissions are kept while they are relevant to a live record or an open matter, then removed. Ask the editorial desk to delete a submission that concerns you and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Cookies

The site sets only the cookies WordPress needs to function. It does not run third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

How the pieces fit

The two signals stay separate
Best rated is a public Google-review signal with a check date. It is not our judgement.
Company level and the Local Elite seal come from our six-criteria assessment and a named editor. They are never for sale.
The two are shown side by side and never averaged into one number.
