How Best Rated is determined

Best Rated is a public signal built from Google review data. It is not a Solution Malaysia ranking and it is not our assessment.

Eligibility

A company appears in a Best Rated table only when all of the following are true:

• it has a live Google rating;
• it has at least 20 public reviews;
• we have checked the figure within the last 90 days.

Below 20 reviews we still publish the record, without a rating figure, because a handful of reviews is not a reliable signal.

Ordering

Where the neutral company lists are ordered, they use a weighted score that pulls a rating towards the register-wide average until a company has enough reviews to stand on its own. A 5.0 from three reviews does not outrank a 4.8 from two hundred. Best Rated tables themselves are ordered by rating, then by review count, and are always labelled as public Google data.

What it is not

• It is not a top-ten list. No position number is published.
• It cannot be bought, and paying for anything on this site does not affect it.
• It is a snapshot with a check date, not a live feed.
