Claim a company policy

Last updated 28 Aug 2026

Claiming a record proves you speak for the company. It does not change your level, your rating or your assessment — those stay with our editors, which is the point of the register.

Proof

A claim needs a company email address on the company’s own domain, or a matching registration document. We may ask for a second point of proof.

What a claimant can change

Field Editable
Services and trades Yes
Contact details and opening hours Yes
Photos and portfolio Yes, checked before it publishes
Credentials Yes, with a source
Company level No — editorial assessment
Local Elite seal No — never on request
Google rating No — public data

Claimed is not Elite

A claimed record shows “Profile claimed”. That is a statement about who manages the data, not about quality.

How the pieces fit

The two signals stay separate
Best rated is a public Google-review signal with a check date. It is not our judgement.
Company level and the Local Elite seal come from our six-criteria assessment and a named editor. They are never for sale.
The two are shown side by side and never averaged into one number.
